When you are in art school, everyone tells you that "you can never make Georges Danton look cool" but I never believed it until now. It's true though, kids. Always listen to your teachers.
I actually do think this is an interesting idea though. If movies, books, and comics are constantly getting updated for new audiences, why not history lessons? It wasn't until I had spent quite a bit of time on this that I remembered that Sofia Coppolla basically had this exact same idea when she made Marie Antionette. So maybe it's not that great of an idea.
